Stellar Leuna

Stellar Leuna is an exhibiting artist and commercial illustrator from Sydney, Australia. Her career in art began in self-publishing zines and prints of her personal drawings, as well as merch design for punk bands both local and international. Her works are created using primarily black indian ink and brushes on paper.

Best known for her drawings of "punk rock femme fatales", Stellar's obsession with occultism, counter culture and 18th century Romanticism have informed her black and white ink drawings of eery scenes reminiscent of stills from a film. Her aim is to confront the viewer with feelings of nostalgia, angst, and a desperate longing for a better world.
